A big "THANKS" to Mark Maves who came to my rescue in Anchorage last week while I was stranded in a motel room for two days with a pinched nerve in my back. Mark picked me up and took me to his house for dinner with his family and relaxation both days. Had I felt up to it he even offered to take me duck hunting one of those days.It was a pleasure to meet and spend time with him, his wife and two young sons. I will be forever grateful to them for their hospitality. What a great guy and family!

How did the sheep hunting go Jack?
I hope the pinched nerve was from packing a Ram out, not twisting somewhere on the trail.

Trad Gangers = great folks!
You are very welcome Jack!
It was great to meet another Trad Gang member and the offer goes out to all of you anytime. I am headed out Thursday morning for my attempt at my "any sheep" hunt and I was also able to get a permit for a "any bull" moose in the same area. The snow has come down alot in the past week and this will most likely be a hike in the woods for grouse and ptarmagin.
Again it was our pleasure and hope all is going well..
Mark
PS..The ducks have finally started moving through.
Mark,
Good luck on the sheep and moose!
I'm going to physical therapy for my back but so far not much change. At this point no telling when I'll get out hunting again.
Thanks again,
Jack
Well Done!! "TradGang'ers" watch Out For Each Other!! :archer:
