Just had an opportunity to try my first ILF riser purchase, a Morrison paired with Border Hex 6's. To say I'm impressed would be an understatement. Without a chrono, I can tell you with certainty it ranks on up there, but speed wasn't what lead me to try it. I wanted capability to adjust tiller to compensate for a 3U release that always had a bit more noise, vibration and bare shaft nock-high than I wanted no matter where I raised my nock set. I'd just never owned a bow I could dial in negative tiller, they just aren't that common in a world of positive or even tiller choices. I'll admit my fingers are ugly! Listening to others with similar gripes, I'd just conceded it was the trade-off of a 3U release...BS! With 1/8th" negative tiller it's hands down the quietest, most vibration free bow I've ever shot. Bare shafts that were tuned to my other bow of the same poundage are flying dead flat before tip weight experimentation! I'm an ILF convert...if you're at your ropes end, try one!

Congrats on a great looking bow. Does Bob carry the Border limbs.
That sure is a good looking riser. What length Border limbs did you get?
Very nice. Is that a brand new riser ? Looks to be black and white ebony and phenolic ?
Wapiti, correct. The limbs are mediums on a 17" riser for a 60", 49# bow. Border now makes Bob's Max series limbs for him and I think he does stock some. I'm not sure which configurations, you'd have to contact him about that. They are very close to the Hex 6's in radius of the curve, but I'm not knowledgeable of the carbon layup. I just got impatient and got "the cart before the horse" when Border had a big inventory reduction sale last winter. Mine are not the BB2's but I'm already lusting after some!
 That thing is GORGEOUS! Bob has out done himself with this one.
Richard,
Gorgeous riser! How about a couple of pics with the limbs and with the bow assembled and strung?
Bill
Bill,
I'll try to get a couple this weekend. LOL, I found out after I bought them that they were actually finished (gloss silver)for a target bow but Sid was kind enough to refinish them flat black for me at no charge. I know the deer wouldn't have cared, but silver just clashes with the foliage around my tree stands!
Hands down the sexiest riser of Bob's I have ever seen. WOW. Me want one!! :saywhat: :jumper:
Purddy!
That is a cool riser. Very nice
Ooh-la-la.
Hope to see some hero pics with you, the bow, and a deer Richard! :)
Very nice.
Nice.......
WOW! Off the chart!
Thanks Bud, congrats on yours. I'd like to post some, but it ain't going to happen this year. I've been postponing joint replacement surgery, trying to make it until the season was over....big mistake. I've pretty much been in constant pain and taking too many meds for it for the last two months. I "threw in the towel" and am having it done. I did have a big doe under me the one time I got to go, but couldn't get a shot clear shot through the laurel. Nice to just watch deer though, but I didn't think I was going to make it out of the woods! Oh well, maybe I'll rehab enough to take one in late gun season. I'll see you at next year's 3-D shoots at any rate, if all our clubs don't close!
Bill,
Here's a pic "fully dressed". Sorry about the glare, I'm an admittedly lousy photogrpher. This bow really deserves better surroundings, but Julianne Hough was busy and turned me down, lol!!

Cool looking bow! I like the sneaky photo bomber in that shot too :)
I am finding myself tempted more and more by ILF lately!
What brace height have you got that set at?
Dogboy,
Good eyes, I hadn't even noticed. That's the grandson making a case to let him hold it. I'd flushed the little rascal but he obviously snuck back in!
