Have any of you used Limbsavers on your Widows? If so where on your limbs gives you the best results and will they affect my performance to the point of having to retune my arrows?
Yes......just above the fades......and no!
Thank you Ron
I have used these alot and experimented alot with them.I would go 3 inches above the fadeouts.
I like stiktamers better they really work on PSRX
sticktamers are the only way to go.best brush gaurds, best to hang your bow and silents your bow. I will never use any thing else.
I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have a question for ranger 3 and or oldskool which I think is applicable. I have looked at the stiktamers for a couple of my hybrids, but was afraid they would get in the way when unstringing the bow. Granted I rarely if ever unstring during the season but have you found this to be an issue? I would hate to tear the top one up every time I unstring. Just for the record, I have limbsavers on my main hunting bow (the recurve model) and I think it made it marginally quieter and didn't appear to effect performance. Mine are also mounted just above the fadeouts.
bowhuntingrn, don't worry about hijacking the thread the more info the better.

That sounds about right.......
I couldn't believe the difference sticktamers made on my psax
bowhuntingrn , I have no problems when unstringing my recurve.
What ranger3 said
I saw several reviews on 3 rivers that also said stringing was a problem...but not to you guys?
Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like I'll have to give them a try on my next order.
