Title: Taking out the Contender!
Post by: Wannabe1 on September 24, 2014, 07:42:00 PM
Well, I've been practicing very hard with the Contender and have gotten quite confident with my shooting it. Gonna take her out tomorrow for the first time and an all day hunt. Strapped on a Big Jim quiver (it was supposed to be for a new bow I'm having made!)a couple arrows tipped with 145 Steel Force Phat Heads and here's hoping!    And the journey continues.

May the goddess of the hunt be with you and your arrow fly true.   :archer2:

I shot mine this weekend.  It is a great bow and has the mojo to lay one out for you

Good luck!  I'm thinking positive thoughts and sending them your way... Ok, so that probably won't do much, but your bow definitely looks like it will get the job done!  Good luck.

Really appreciate it folks! I have been trying and practicing so, if the deer will just cooperate, I believe I can get it done. I also have been doing some research and picked up a fawn in distress bleat to see if I can lure in a blacktail doe.   :D
