James, I couldn't be more impressed. Not only is it beautiful but it's fast and QUIET..
Not bad for a "one eyed fat man", lol...
Ok, I stole the fat man line from a John Wayne movie.. How about "one eyed skinny man?"
Nah, just doesn't sound right...

Not only is this bow stunning it is an amazing shooter..
So........what did you get?
Yea! A picture would be nice
Coming later, don't have any yet..
It's an all yew vixen with a beautiful myrtle exposed riser..
I think James said it was myrtle, grey and we'll figured..
Draws so sweet, shoots a fast arrow and is so quiet!
68", 54@28
Nope, Im fat. Darn munchies. ..OE
Congrats Pat....looking forward to seeing pics of this Vixen. These bows with the OE serial number are truly showing themselves to be something special. James continues to elevate his craftsmanship in remarkable ways.
Sounds like a great one Pat!!! Bet the exposed myrtle looks great.
Those Berrys are some fine shooting bows for sure!!!
Pat... I've got almost the spittin image of your bow. Mine is 53# @28". 5 yew lams, fiddle back myrtle riser.
Simply beautiful and a super performer... I just love the yew.
Shouldn't take you more than a few hours to come up with a pic of your Berry and a fat hog. ;)
Few things are better then a new bow from James. Just does a heart good.......
Now that is amazing!!!
Yew have a nice one there Pat. Thanks for the pics!
Love the simple warm elegance of that one.
Nice looking bow, Pat! I'm sure the "Pig Master" will break her in correctly. :saywhat:
Nice bow Brother... The critters are even more scared than usual now. I'm sure you'll have a picture of a great buck up this weekend. Good luck!!!
:archer:
Mighty sweet Pat. Congratulations! Enjoy that bow.
Dog gone, I can't write that well with "two" eyes.
Beautiful bow!
Good Shooting,
Craig
VERY nice.
Beautiful bow.
My new to me used "Taipan". 66" 54@29", think it was made 10 May 2014, Bamboo limbs, black glass. It's a sweet shooter! Anyone know what brace height JD recommends to back of arrow shelf. Very nice, December gets closer every day. I believe that is when my number comes up. This has been a tough wait but looking at all of the post about James bows, well it doesn't make any easier! He builds some great looking bows
OMG, the hogs just thought they were in trouble before.
I run my 62" taipan at 6.5" from shelve, not deepest part of grip.
I'd assume in that range
My 66" Morning Star runs nicely at 6 3/4" from deepest part of grip. Not much dish in the grip, though, so it's probably almost that much from the back of the shelf.
Thanks,that sounds about right.
Congrats!!!
Looking quite forward to reading a trip to the field report.
