Title: Best bino holder for treestand hunting??
Post by: Bullfrog 1 on September 21, 2014, 08:21:00 AM
Looking for a new suspension system for my Swarovski 8X32. Something to keep them tight to me but not bulky. Thanks.   BILL

I like the Leupold shoulder harness. The straps are stretchy so you can set them up tight where they don't flop around and yet still have enough stretch to comfortably use them even in awkward positions. Also having the harness straps pull into you makes even the lightest hunting binoculars very stable.

Hey a Bill,

I saw were Sitka has a harness.  I've used bino buddies for years but it's time to replace them, they're getting stretched out.

I love my Crooked Horn Shoulder harness.
Holds tight to the body, and doesn't interfere while shooting my bow at all.

The best system I have used is FHF Gear's Binocular Harness and Pouch system. These are handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana with the focus on gear custum designed to Fish, Hunt, or Fight. I use binoculars daily and I have tried every harness and strap system available. These are hands-down the most comfortable and well designed harness systems available. They work for casual glassing, or intense stalking over difficult terrain. Quality USA made product, designed from the ground up to be the very best harness on the market. I own four now, and couldn't be more pleased.

I like the factory unit, worn over the head so the binoculars ride under my left arm (right handed.)

I'm a big fan of the S4 Gear, Lockdown harness.
Very slim, lightweight & non-elasticated bino straps. Very easy to sue one handed too.
