Just received my dayone pack in asat wool.Ready to hunt. What are you using for a day-pack this hunting season?
Bison gear for me
A $10.00 Fieldline. Want a better pack but can't make up my mind what to buy.

I'll second Bison Gear... Works great for me... Opens into a nice mid-sized back pack if need be.
... mike ...
I just bought a $20 Fieldline Montana. It'll suit me fine for what I do.
A Bison Gear Outfitter and BG Gopher fanny pack, best packs made, period.
I'm using my Filson day pack... as I have for a long time.
I love my Badlands Monster Fanny Pack. It's a bit on the expensive side, but I'll never have to buy another one.
Also, it goes everywhere with me. It has enough room for the things I need on an all-day sit, but it sits low enough I can carry something like a stand or steps or decoys above it.

I got a couple of the old $20..don't think you can find them anymore.. Walmart Fieldline backpacks (leave one in the woods in general area I do most of my hunting). I thought all these yrs I didn't like them..not enough pockets for junk, just one big main one and two on the side. But they are real light when empty..less than 2 lbs and will hold a boned out deer and that's why I carry one on my back every time I deer hunt.
Thought I'd try a small step up with the ALPs and will soon be going back to my old Fieldline. The ALPs
Pursuit will never hold a boned out deer much less all my extra clothes in cold weather. But I like the pack for squirrel hunting, etc, early season.
Also use Badlands Monster Fanny Pack on occasion for scouting, et.
Really have enjoyed my kuiu 1850. You can't even tell it's on.
I use a Bruzer Gear mid-sized backpack or Bruzer Gear fanny pack, each of which I picked up a few years ago on the big auction site. They carry very well and are very well-made. I paid about $50 for each one, nowhere near their posted prices on their website.
