Being a bit of a wall flower here and a newbie to the trad archery scene, I just want to say thanks to all the regular posters for all the knowledge that you share.
I have never been on such an encouraging and helpful forum before, and I have to say that it's nice to see the lack of bickering that you find everywhere else.
The posts and members here have been a real encouragement to me and I have decided to hang up my compound this fall and push to hunt with the longbow.
So in all, I just want to say thanks to everyone. This is a great community. Hopefully I will have some stories of my own to post in the months to come.

Thanks Kyle. We aren't perfect, but we ain't that bad ! Stop being the wallflower and join in the fun.
Good luck with your hunting this year. Keep the faith.

It would seem that traditional archery attracts the "wallflower" type. I'm the same way in my personal life. Don't be afraid to jump in!
It's interesting. When we start on the journey of archery we believe that 95% of the variables have to do with our equipment and 5% of it is mental. After we finally become a bit proficient we realize that those percentages are actually reversed - and that is why we are so willing to help the newbies. We know without a doubt that the biggest part of archery is centered right between our ears. That's why it's so hard and at the same time so satisfying when we finally get it right.
Welcome to our club.
Welcome to TradGang.... ;)
