Well, it took forever. After going back and forth between a couple of bows on my short list, I finally decided to go with the Super D. To say I am excited would be an understatement. The specs are...
66" Right handed
Ebony riser w/beaver tail grip
#55 @ 30"
Walnut cores
Pau Ferro veneers
I had originally wanted burl walnut lams, but Dan mentioned that they can be tricky and wanted me to call him as he had a few ideas...this was one of them. I will post pics when it arrives...just wanted to share!

You will love that bow. The Super D is very easy to shoot well. Its kinda like a Whip and a Hill had a love child. They are extremely quiet, plenty of cast, and only a mild post shot pulse in the hand. I truly enjoyed the one I had, would definitely consider owning another.
Great bows!
Congrats! I've got a Whip just put on order. Those Super Ds are my favorite D bow bar none!
I keep going back to mine. Can't seem to let her be. I have 100% confidence in the shot!
You won't have to wait very long either! Love my whip and have a kestrel coming this week or next.
For all of you who shoot them...do you find they like a heavy arrow? (700-750grn range) That's what I prefer to shoot. Plus, I would think that it would make the bow even quieter.
I shoot 47#s and it seems to love arrows from 580-605 grains. Whisper quiet!!!
Can't wait to see pics when you get it. Dan really makes a fine bow. I like heavier arrows in both of mine. Scary quiet and excellent cast.
