I also see he has a sweet hedge recurve in the classifieds. I have a new hybrid longbow in the works so I should be able to resist right now but I keep thinking of how nice that will look with some time in the sun...

Post by: Gooserbat on September 09, 2014, 11:26:00 AM: It's a 55@30 62" Chechen with the 1'st yew limbs Brian has done (after talking with him I don't think they are the last) Shoots where I look and is supper quiet. Quick too. Best part is I will shoot a full length Easton aftermath 340 with a 225 point like a lazer. No need to cut shafts and my arrows weight a beautiful 585 gr.

Post by: DarkTimber on September 10, 2014, 07:59:00 AM: Bill...my 62" TT recurve shoots best with a brace height of 7-5/8", which is right in the wheelhouse of what Brian recommends if I remember correctly. Not around my bow now so will have to check on string length, I have it somewhere on my computer.

Thanks! That's the standard for the other bows I've owned over the past couple of years, but, I couldn't remember for the TT. Something to do with old age I suspect, but I don't remeber for sure. :)
