Sweet looking bow and some good shooting! Congrats.
Gotta love that green glass. Nice.
Nice, should be a smooth shooter like all Steve's bows, congrats.
Steve Turay obviously knows what he's doing. Sweet bow. :bigsmyl:
Nice! I want one of those with red glass.
Congrats Roger, I love the green glass too. Steve makes great bows and is an even better person to deal with. I'm loving my Barga I got from him. (now that I found some arrows it like) :) Happy shooting.
Great looking bow. I love green glass and reverse risers. ANY minute now UPS will be showing up with my Yellowstone Half Breed and I'll be able to fully appreciate how you feel. The wait is killing me.
I have a couple of them and they are really nice, easy to shoot bows. Have fun.
I have a Baraga to match...green glass both sides, 60#. So far, they like the same arrows
sweet looker and shooter. been wanting to build myself a forward handle for some time. think i will now.
Your gonna love the Whisper, I have 2 and a Baraga. Steve builds a good solid hunting bow!! I like the forward grip.
Beautiful how...... The more I see.of his boss with green glass the more I want one surrounding a putty pc of maple :)
Nice bow Roger!

Sorry you're having an off day shooting buddy.  I wish you guys would quit keeping Steve so busy because I would love to see him show up at Shrewhaven again for a few days of hunting. It's been too many years since we have had him join us. He's a class act and builds a great bow.
Congrats Roger !! Love the looks of green glass.
Bill
I have an itch for a Whisper. Roger, can you make any general comparisons between the Whisper and the Baraga?
homebru
When I received my green and white glass Whisper and pulled it out of the shipping box my first thought was "Oh no, he put the white glass on the back of the bow." The reverse handle threw me for a second. Happy hunting
With that bow tuned in you will know why Steve named it Whisper. Super quiet, dead in the hand and hit right where your looking...
You're going to love it!
top shelf !
My go to longbow is a Whisper prototype - possibly the first Whisper ever but I would have to confirm that with Steve. This is before it was titled Whisper and Steve was still working out the kinks to the perfection in the design it now carries. Mine has a shorter riser and is rather short for one of these bows but shoots really well at my short draw and is one awesome bow - As all of Steve's bows are. You will love it!!
Mine is a dual shelf model because Steve did not like that the short riser caused it to begin to stack early and gave it to me because of my silly short stature and complimenting draw length. He called to ask if I wanted a bow and what could I say?? But because it was built righty he cut a lefty shelf and the rest is history. I gave him a knife in return and this bow has put a lot of meat in the freezer.
Fine-looking bow.
Brace Height set...nock point tied on...I have about 200 arrows through it since last night. Dead quiet, shoots where I look. It seems very forgiving, and not very picky about arrows. I love it!
Very nice Roger, hope you have a great season buddy.
Roger, I'm curious about what arrows your shooting out of your whisper, since they work out of your Baraga too.
55/75 Gold tip Hunters with about 255 grains up front.
That green glass is a real goody. That's a nice looking bow. Now we are all set for some hunting stories featuring it.
Green glass and reverse handle -- just awesome.
Looks just like the Baraga that you killed the Mule Deer with last year. Steve makes a wonderful bow, and you have two beauties.
Outstanding!!!
I'm a huge fan of forward riser bows. And that green glass is amazing
Roger I have to say Steve Turay's Whisper is one hec of a bow! I had bought a used one of Trad Gang a few years back. I used it a year ago at a 3D shoot,Whittingham here in Jersey. :archer: Went there with dozen brand new Dougie Fir arrows. I shot 2 courses pretty darn well. :archer2: Besides that I never lost or even broke an arrow! :archer2: Good Luck with your Beauty and Good Hunting!I might have to have Steve make me one one of theses days.
Love the combo of the riser wood and the green lams! Congrats
Real nice Roger!!! Green glass to boot!!! Love it!
Roger
Are those bamboo lams?
Maple lams
