Hey, hey! You found a nice one right there! Congrats. Post up some pics when you make some meat buddy!
Tim
I hope to make meat with this one some day, Tim!
Those JD Berry bows are on my short list. Lefty4 had a beautiful one for sale a while back that I was strongly considering, just wished it was either 2" longer or 2# lighter, but who knows I may end up with it someday if he hasn't already sold it. Or I may order a new one. Those nocks he carves are something else.
Nice........
Now that is a beautiful taipan. Not only is the taipan my favorite of all of the JD BERRY offerings it is hands down my favorite longbow to date!!
Ric o shay (Danny long) did a fantastic write up when he got it
I really like the looks of that bow I wish you the best with it.
Danny has been a big help to me since I bought his old bow for sure.
Nice!
Very nice. I have a Taipan on order, too.
Taipan's are wonderful bows. Congrats on finding the right one!
They shoot straight and make meat. Plenty of meat! Good luck with her.

Nice harvest!!!!
Thanks Brian. I keep kicking myself about James' bows. After a 8 month wait, two months longer than what James estimated, my build came up. I was going for another 62", but upping poundage from 53# to 60#. In that last two month period we decided to commit to a saltwater boat and it resulted in not having funds for a new build. Then James explains that he's completing his current list and not excepting new orders.
Good grief, Keith! That's some meat! I only hope to shoot a moose some day! Well done!
I should be coming up for a taipan in the next couple months. November December maybe.
Was talking to James about the combo and think walnut cores for sure
Psss.. Brian, bamboo is calling your name. :scared:
Someone call 911 , they used my name and bamboo in the same sentence lol
Never , I'd walk the plank first :$
Boooooo
Boooooo
Boooooo
Beautiful bow Dennis, enjoy, can't wait for my bamboo Taipan build to come up.
I think we can arrange a boo plank :)
I'm gonna call James and ask him to hide some boo in your next bow.... :)
If James will no longer be taking orders, it is totally understandable, the number of people that will ever be handling my Morningstar has dropped to one, just me.
I hadn't heard that James is no longer taking orders - is this a temporary situation?
I have 2/3 more months to wait on my Taipan and I am really looking forward to getting it. I have never shot one of his bows but James builds some Sweet bows even with one eye  He is a pleasure to talk with also,he definitely knows his stuff.
