Thank you for the kind words Mr. Godman. I have just started turning a few with a wood grunt tube. I have two available at this time. There is a link below to an osage one I turned for another member a few weeks ago. I have some more camo and gray dymond wood planned as well as bacote for some all wood calls.

I don't, but give me a day or two. Maybe I can come up with something. Not sure how I'd go about providing that... Let me check with my more tech savvy son and daughter. That's a great idea.

Here is an all wood grunt call I made to match my bow. Should have run the maple strips against the grain for more contrast though. Oh well, live and learn.

Well, that wasn't as hard as I thought it would be! My son did the recording/zooming. It's a little dark in my man cave but I hope the sounds can be heard clearly.

I was just about to ask if you can match a bow. I have a beautiful Thunderhorn that I will be hunting with this year - made with Bol Rosewood and Curly Maple - think you can match it? I'd also love to get a matching knife made if anyone has recommendations. I'll see if I can post a picture

Those do sound nice! Can you get one tone deeper?
I'm not sure, I suppose you could move the o-ring flush with the wood. I've not tried that though. I have found that heaviear woods, cocobolo, bacote, iron wood and hickory sound deeper than osage, the dymond wood and walnut.
Yet antoher good question. I will try it out when I get a chance. Have to go pull a 48 hr. shift. See ya soon...
