Hello to all my fellow trad gangers :help:
Just need to be careful when you shoot. Will need to position yourself toward the back corner of the blind and shoot out the corner on the opposing side. Also can't your bow and you should have plenty of clearance.Good luck.
Set it up in your back yard and practice shooting out of it... you'll figure it out real quick. 60" bow length shouldn't be a problem.
Agree,60 inch isn't long.
Like was stated you should shoot out of it a lot.
Not just a few shots. Shoot till you don't have to think about it.
I hunt on land I own and place my blinds up a few weeks before season. I bring a small shovel and dig a shallow area where I put my huntmore, gives me the clearance I need. If not able to leave the blind maybe go to your chosen spots and dig a little ahead.
When I hunt from a blind im more concerned with the depth to than the height. Being I hunt one year with my 58" right recurve out of the ameristep doghouse blinds. By canting I got height clearance but the depth is what got me. I didnt have room for the arrow inside the blind and my string hand elbow pushing against the back of the blind. Now I own a doublebull and no problems at all.
