I am considering purchasing one of those ground blinds that use downward angled mirrored panels that reflect the surrounding foliage to create a camo effect.I am familiar with pop up style blinds but I am looking for something a little more portable and easier to set up and this concept seems intriguing.Has anybody used or had any experience with this type of blind?
If u do a search, you will find instructions on how to build one.
Good luck hunting.
P.S. I am pretty sure mudd posted up about the build.
DIY Mirror Blind pt.1 (http://youtu.be/sjUJyXE3jhY)
Here's a YouTube video outlining an easy way to make your own.
I would think that some very thin plexiglass with a mirror window coating mounted on some stiff CoroPlast would give you the exact same thing that GhostBlinds are.
Thanks for the information guys. I will check it out.

Where's Mudd?
I personally own a ghost blind and yes they work!!! I still choose to brush them in a little and let the mirrors do the rest. I've had deer extremely close and unsuspecting hunters even closer hahaha. The only down sides to this blind is your back side is very exposed, I always cut some branches fill in behind me, also they are really short. I'm only 6' tall but when I sit in my blind on a bucket I have to crouch a little for cover. I guess they sell extenders but I haven't bought any yes. But yes they work and work well when placed right (like anything else).
