It doesn't seem that long ago, but it's been nearly two months since the auction has closed. Burton made a very generous bid on some custom arrow from our very own Snag from Wilderness Custom Arrows. They included natural barred turkey feathers (thank you Magilla, fellow Tradgang member, for helping out with the red's). Burton wasn't sure what arrows were going to fly the best with his bow, so David got him hooked up with a test kit of arrows to make sure his final creation would be exactly what he needed. After all the back an forth, here's what David created for Burton:

I must say, I've seen some gorgeous arrows on Tradgang over the years, but none prettier than these. And of course knowing the Surewood shafting and process first hand, they'll be shooters for sure.
Thank you again Burton for your GENEROUS bid on behalf of the St. Judes kids and David it's always a pleasure working with you.
I'm already looking forward to next year.
Thanks Ray for allowing me to help out with this. It would be great to see how they work out for Burton in a hunting situation.
Beautiful! David.
Some make arrows, but these are functional art! NICE!
Those are beauties for sure, that was my favorite color combo when I used to make my own arrows.
Can't beat that St Jude mojo ....
Wow, congrats to Burton!
Those are some very classic arrows, good job all the way around! :notworthy: :clapper: :clapper:
Thanks guys. It was my pleasure to help out with Ray's project. Thank you Ray! Ray went out of his way to make sure this was possible. When I saw the colors the person chose it put a smile on my face. Especially when they wanted the shafts stained with an ebony stain.
Very nice work, as always.
Great job all around!
Wow. Love that look. Congradulation !
Beautiful!
Great job on everyone's part!
