I have a new Centaur 56" long bow. Can you Centaur shooters let me know what brace you all are useing. Thanks Mike.
I run my 60" at 6 3/4 to 7"
6 7/8" for me on my 56". It actually shoots fine at the recommended 6 1/2" minimum but I was slapping my arm guard too much for my liking, so I raised it. My form sucks though so your results may vary. I've always heard that you should keep it as low as you can provided that you can shoot it well and it is quiet but I'm sure that opinions vary on this?
MCS. You didn't pay attention. Brace height is and individual thing. That said if I where you I would start at 6 1/2 and work up or down until you get the bow as quiet as possible and that is the correct brace height for you. If you need help give me a call.........Rocky
I think I might need a refresher course Rocky.
Rocky's got it. I liked 6 3/4- 7" on my 56". Don't go any higher and rob performance from your bow. Work up from 6.5 until your arrow is flying perfect. They are plenty quiet using Jim's BH recommendations on his site, they are spot on. Enjoy one of the finest longbows made today.
Jasper took the words out of my mouth. I started at 6 1/2 but my arm was taking a beating. 6 3/4 works great.
6 3/4 on my 56"....
My 60" 55# likes 7".
Thanks guys.
