I know, I know, as married men we are supposed to have eyes for our bride ONLY. Sometimes we see one that we think we just can't live without. That Ole Devil just has to dangle our weaknesses out in front of us.
She is 50 years old, (my wife is only 48, so it's not like I'm after the younger ones) she's very curvy and fit, just a knock out for her age.
I found her at Denton. No, not laying on a blanket in the evening sun. She was at rest in the back of a "friends" vehicle. Now I'm the first to admit I've had a few tumbles in the back of a car, but that was in my younger days, and never with a beauty like this!!
He told me he thought she was a '61 model, so that's what was stuck in my mind as he opened the back of his Dodge. I was so befuddled when I saw her, I went to show her off to some guys who would be astounded by her beauty, I made a fool of myself when I said she's a '61. I know better!

She's very, very good at what she was made for.

SWEET!
A 1964 Kodiak is a bow I always had a hankering for. Now that vintage bow prices are way down, I was very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time.
All I did to her when getting home was some wet sanding with very fine sand paper, and a little polishing up. The original rest and strike plate were in place, although very worn out.
I installed a TRAP feather rest, and made a new strike plate.
She has 1 little ding and 2 of the very slightest stress lines.
I've never named any of my bows before, but I'm a little bit in love with "Sweetheart"!
Hey that group looks like Adam was shooting Sweetheart for you :) .
