Title: Banner Boy Mick Parks
Post by: Steve O on July 27, 2014, 09:55:00 AM
What a nice greeting when you open up Trad Gang and are met by your buddy smiling over his dream animal.

One of the best thing about getting a bit older is getting to choose your hunting partners rather than just tagging along with family.  I have been very blessed to find some really, really good guys to share adventures with and Mick is one of the best.

Great job buddy!

Here are a couple better shots:

Mick, beautiful Kudu.  How long is that Ivory at the tips?  One day I would like to have the experience you just had in Africa.

Mike,

Craig told me to look for 2" of ivory and I'd say it's real close. Really showed up at last light!

We'll have to get together and swap stories. I'd like to hear more about the mule deer and the bear. Be good to get our boys together and shoot again too.

Mick, congrats on a trophy of a lifetime. Looks like you're putting to use that great form that Rod Jenkins taught us a few years back!

Mike,

You are right about that!  Rod's class made a world of difference in my shooting.

I notice you've been piling up some critters since then as well!  :archer:

Let me know when Mick and we will make it happen.  Maybe a longbow rabbit hunt should be in the works.
