After shooting a friends Centaur last week end, I downloaded an order form and filled it out, Hand tracing and all!
Before I could send it off, that same buddy called and told me, "Centaur in your specs up on Tradgang".
When I opened the thread and saw the bow, I couldn't type, "I'll take it!", fast enough!
It arrived at the shop this afternoon and looks even better in person!

It's a Take Down, Triple Carbon Elite, Dark Matter with Bocote scales, Elk antler tips and Elk antler finger grooves. It is an absolute work of art!
I didn't have a lot of time to shoot it. From what little I did, I can tell you, it is very smooth, fast and quiet!
It's about 57# at my 29 3/4" draw. It was shooting my 575gr arrows at 187fps!
Can't wait for daylight so I can get to know it a little better!
Wow, what a weapon!!
Nice! Jim sure can make a bow!
Good lookin' stick!

You have done well! Enjoy one of the finest made bows available! That one is fully loaded so no need to go custom ha!
Impressive performance for sure! Getting me excited about my ILF limbs I ordered from Jim! Should hopefully be coming by next week?? Fingers crossed...
The only thing I may add is skins. The more I look at it, the more the carbon backing grows on me though!
If you do skins consider having Jim do them. His skin jobs are incredible, they look painted on.
When I do it, it will be Jim! No doubt!
Hmm, nice looking bow........ :bigsmyl:

With a little tuning, we are getting along just fine.

Mine is almost similar to yours, just a lefty with Kudu on place of elk and skinned, one heck of a bow.
Nice looking bow !
I love my Centaur. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
Love tehm Centaurs...especially with DM.
Sweet! Looks like it's working for you!

Nice bow... love the riser. Never seen one before. What are the bolts in the riser for?
It's a two piece, take-down. The bow is split vertically from the shelf, through the grip. There are a series of three SS pins and two bolts, that connect it back together.
Gorgeous bow!!
I have came back to this thread 4 times now just to look at that bow. Congrats it is beautiful.
