In theory, a set or recurve limbs marked 55@ 28 on a 20" riser for a 60" bow. How much would the same limbs on a 18" riser for a 58" bow be ? I had a 60" Assenheimer with these limbs , when I got the shorter riser, they felt heavier.
Your post made me think of the riddler from Batman or a word problem from math class! LOL. I do not know the answer, but someone on here will figure it out.
Going to a shorter riser it should add 1# per inch if limb pad angle is the same.
I pretty much agree with JR309. Going from a longer to shorter riser will increase the weight, a # per inch is a pretty good estimate. Depends in part on the original weight of the limbs.
I was going to say once you reach 40, weight gain is a way of life. Other than that...I got noth'in.
