Checked the mail and saw that I had received my quiver caddy for the Kwikee Kwiver. Solid construction (the weight of it seems like it is steel and not aluminum :D ) and just very well put together; the leather stitching is perfection!
Tim offers his beautiful leather quivers (the Absorkee and other models) but I already had a Kwikee Kwiver on hand. And yes, as is evident from my post, he still offers the quiver caddy as a separate item.
Just demoed it while wearing my Eberlestock X2 pack and it sits low enough to clear the hip belt by a wide margin. There's no chance of the fletching rubbing against either the pack or the hip belt. Very comfortable too. Just wish I hadn't dropped one of the Kwikee Kwiver mounting screws down the bathroom sink...
But other than that event of user stupidity to temper my excitement, I am looking forward to using this caddy out in the field this fall! I think it will be THE method of carrying my arrows from now on. And cannot recommend enough the great customer service I received from Tim! He was in constant communication and shipped very quickly. :clapper:
Tim is a good fella
Yep. Tim is a good guy. I really like the Kwikee Kwiver caddy too. This will be my second year using mine...no complaints at all.
His Fish Lipps quivers are also extremely handy. And he does beautiful leather work.
