I am trying to decide what my next bow will be. My good friend Dave (Huntrdfk) was gracious enough to leave his new Centaur with me this this weekend to try. My thoughts have been either a Chimera or a TD Whip.
After shooting Daves bow a bunch, I decided I better give my Whip some attention.
My first two shoots from 20 yards this am!

I think she was a little put out that I would consider another bow! I'm still not sure what I'm going to do!
Sometimes you just want a new bow .................................for NO particular reason. :knothead:
I think she said "all you need are some new arrows"!!!!
Doesn't really matter which bow you decide on, I have seen you shoot enough to know this could have happened with either your Whip or my Centaur!
David
And on a bag target to boot! Good shooting.
I Robin Hooded an arrow once trying to decided between two different bows to buy. I bought the other one. Humans are an odd bunch. :D
I think I'm still going to order a Centaur. I was able to switch back and forth and have both bows hit where I was looking. The grip on the Centaur is exceptional! But I do love my Whip!
Whip has the better limbs/shooting characteristics, Centaur definitely has a better grip. Can't lose either way!

Brad, what makes you say that? There's no question I love Whips ( I have one on order ), but I have a triple carbon Centaur that is just an awesome bow and a pleasure to shoot. Have you had a different experience?

I had a wood and glass Centaur, still have my 58" Selway Lil Mag and recently received my new TD Classic Whip. The Whip is much more quiet for sure, practically silent, and gives up very little if any in speed. I didn't care for the grip on the Centaur, but it wasn't made for me. The Whip sits in my hand perfectly and I really like the grip on the Lil Mag. IMO the Whip is a much more "shootable" bow. I think I'll be hanging on to this Whip for a while.
Seth, what quiver is that on your Whip?
It's a Kanati quiver.
