I have used an elevated rest or two, but I would like to see your setup. I have a cartel rest and I have had a Hoyt hunter rest. They both have a little tab on the side plate. Do you leave it on or cut it off? I noticed the bear weather rest has a small bump there, but not as pronounced as the cartel rest.
Does a feather rest count?

Absolutely! The more styles we see the better.

If you look closely, you can see where I filed off the 'bump' on the side plate.

Here is an old photo of how I used to run the Weatherest. Since then I first removed the top half where the "bump" is located. I just use moleskin for the side plate.
I then found I much prefer the Hoyt Super Rest. I remove the side plate protrusion on that as well and cover similarly with moleskin.
Here's a Strickland Archery springy/cushion plunger rest -- my favorite for a metal riser bow.

Here's a Bear Weather on a Silvertip. Sometimes I shave the bump down if tuning indicates more centershot needed.

I first heard about that rest last week, checked Tim's website and found they were not there, emailed Tim and found out they are having more made...looks like the setup I am looking for with my Hoyt Desperado

Any pictures of the Hoyt rest? I have some different rests and before I go cutting I would like to get some ideas.
Jeff, here you go. The threads of the Judo point are pointing to the piece I trim off at the base.

Thanks. I thought that was the piece you cut off. I'm going to try some of those.
