So new I haven't even got my sample yet! But, samples just went out a day or two ago...I'll probably just pick mine up next Monday when I'm at the factory.
BCY is introducing "Powergrip" at Denton Hill--this will be the first time it's available to the public for purchase. There's some information available at http://www.bcyfibers.com/Serving.php
This stuff has been in development for a long time--can't wait to give it a try!
This is from the people who continue to revolutionize the archery industry via string material.
Bob Destin, co-founder and co-President of BCY is the man who invented the original "Fast Flite" material when he worked for Brownell--the very first "high performance" bowstring material. He then invented 450 Premium, the first blended bowstring material.
While the other guys keep trying to keep up with imitations, BCY continues to lead the pack in innovations, improvements, and new products to make our gear perform better and last longer.

So is this gonna be something like Angel, only in a serving?
Not really. This serving has some elasticity built into it, on purpose. This helps hold it in place better. The coating isn't something to bond it to itself like Angel either.
Thanks for the heads up!!! I'm glad that it comes in .032, I'd love to try it for my adjustable string nocks!!!
I don't think durability will be a problem. We'll see...I plan to bring plenty back with me after I visit.
Hey Chad,
Have you had a chance to try it out yet? Have any observations or pics of it installed?
Thanks,
Mike
i really like bcy's halo and that's been my go-to center serving since it came out. i still prefer using bcy's softer #400 nylon for endless string loops.
anyhoo, i sure hope powergrip isn't like their polygrip!
Hi Rob, just curious what you don't like about Polygrip.

too "grippy" - i want the center serving slippery and not sticky.
Hey Chad,
Don't suppose you have any pics of Powergrip served up on a string yet?
THANK YOU and All the Best!
Mike
I haven't had a chance to tinker with it yet, but hope to soon.
Thanks chad, I'll have to get some and give it a try!
