Well I was extremely lucky and managed to be drawn in a giveaway for a bow. It was not for me but for a budding archer in my family. My daughters both love to shoot their toy bows but my oldest was starting to want the arrow to stick in the target. So I thought I might as well put her name into the giveaway and see what happens. She won a beautiful Maddog archery pup longbow. Here are some pics of her shooting, of course she had to wear her "Merida"dress (from Disneys Brave) and of course my youngest (4) had to get in on the fun.

There are a couple of things that I really like about this bow. first of all the arrow shelf is kind of scooped out which makes it easy for the little ones to keep the arrow there as they draw.

second it is extremely smooth shooting and accurate and able to grow with the kid, My daughters have a very short draw now and even need my help a little but this will draw to 25" so they will be able to use it for longer. plus it is downright gorgeous.

In fact I got to shoot it after they were too tired and liked it so much I ordered a prairie predator for me because I have a short draw and have always had problems getting the most out of a bow that was designed for a 28" draw. Can't wait to get it. Anyway a shout out to Mike for not only his generosity but also his skill. I'm very impressed.
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing the pics.
Very nice!!
Now that's the way to get into archery. We have some mighty generous people out there. Good for her and good luck.

Thank you for posting pictures....very good! :clapper:
Nice! I like that kids have to "dress the part" the cartoons help give them someone or something to relate to.
Very cool!
I think Dad, should have a matching dress....
The Girls are just too cute...

Makes My Day Every Time!!!!
Very awesome!!!!
That's what it's all about!
Thanks for the kind words, there definitely are some generous folks here. I have been lurking for years here and have seen some of the kindest most generous things that I have ever seen take place in this forum. After pondering about it a lot, I think it is because we like to get back to the basics with our gear and that generally transends other elements of life as well we stick to the basics. Thanks again to Mike for getting my family outfitted. Even when purchased I think his kids bows are a great buy. My 4 year old in the 3rd picture cant wait for her 6th birthday, that is when she gets her bow. My wife is even thinking about getting into it!
way to cool :shaka:
