Title: aireal shooting photos
Post by: randy grider on January 22, 2007, 12:01:00 PM
me and northfork had a little bit of daylight left to burn after cleanup of our clubs 3-D shoot. his boy offfered to throw, and a innocent bystander watched while his pup got involved and retrieved discs for us. had a blast, it was a fun day to be out.

My 11 year old granddaughter came for a visit this weekend. She had never shot at aerial targets so we got her bow, a few flu-flus and targets and gave it a try. At first she acted disinterested but after hitting one she was hooked. Here is one of her attempts.

A little blurry but you can see her concentration.

no tpoof, we didn't. its really not as hard as you think. give it a try. yes we did miss probably 3 out of 4,you just keep throwing and hitting untill you stick'em all, or pup drags 'em off! we shot maybe 1/2 hour. shot that bucket full of arrows then quit. walking out in the field and picking up the misses encourages you to hit more discs. LOL

Ya, I'm just kidding, somehow feeling frisky today.lol I've tried the aerials and really enjoy it!
One day shooting at tin cans with my buds and their shotguns I was the only one who could hit them, with my longbow, the look on their faces was priceless. I love when that happens!
We try to have an aerial competition at all out 3-D shoots, kids and adults love it!!
