Would anyone know a contact Info for Ric Anderson? I have a Thermal which a gorilla armed nephew blew up the top limb. Would anyone out there have a set of limbs they want to sell? I have been haunting the classifieds for some time to no avail.

thats a tough one because I never see thermals or Chinooks up for sale anywhere.. I do know that there are alot of them out there so keeping the word out you may find something..
what weight and tiller are you looking for???

Weight is an open question. The current limbs where 54@28" but prefer 60-65 and 70 pounds is not a problem for me. The problem is I draw 30", my nephew draws 32" and can pull 80+.
thats a common weight so the odds are in your favor already,,, tell your nephew to keep his hands off your gear,,,, I'd tell him for ya but he sounds alot bigger and stronger than me so I'll leave that up to you 8^)
oh also Ric was from Montana I think right? I'd do a search for any Montana Bowhunting forums and register to make a post asking about marriahs... the home states sometimes have the most owners but the word will be out there and I wouldn't be supprised if you got a whole bow for the price of the limbs.

There is a good chance limbs from another Marriah bow will not fit perfectly on your bow. Rick freehanded most of the bow and the limbs/risers were slightly different from bow to the next. I had to send my riser back to Rick when I bought new limbs so my step son could hunt with it. Unless the bowyer is using a CNC machine you almost always end up sending the riser back for new limbs.
I really don't think Ric is making bows anymore, but could be wrong about that. The last community listing I had for him was Columbia Falls, Montana. Maybe you can use the town to locate Ric. I have owned three of Ric's Marriah Thermal TD Recurves. On one of them, the lower limb turned an olive color and then splintered. I think it was a clear glass problem. I have the same problem with the second bow and have quit shooting it. All of my recurves were made in the late 1990s. Tried to find Ric for same reason you are, getting new limbs. I have had absolutely no luck in contacting him in years.
John, I had a Marriah that I swapped off to a young fellar down the road. He has went back to a compound and may be willing to part with it. I think it was around 57#@28". I will check with him and let you know. Mike
I have owned lots of Thermals, and limbs. I still own two risers, and 4 sets of limbs. They have all bolted up, and functioned fine. The part that didn't quite match sometimes was the limb butts. They might be slightly too long or short on the riser, but they still worked great. My favorite Thermal has limbs and riser from different owners with no modifications. Ric is mostly retired.
