Hello Gang wanted to about 21 century Longbow Made by Milton Callaway about his bows and customer service thanks
His bows shoot well. The fit and finish is kind of crude but functional. His customer service has had mixed reviews.
Are you just looking for a good shooting bow or a competition bow?
I was going to do a long winded review/response to this question but instead I have three words...Fox Triple Crown.
The Milton bows are shooters for sure, otherwise they wouldn't be so popular in tournaments. They do shoot sweetly. But like Scott said, the fit/finish is utilitarian IMHO and more like what you'd find on a Samick etc. Customer service is a "?". Some people say great things. Others not so great. With as many bowyers that are out there its my opinion why bother with a less than 100% reputation?
Fox Triple Crown baby! A Ron King built bow will be heirloom quality and shoot with the best. I can send you some pics of a flat out breathtaking one if you PM me your email address.
A Fox will run a good several hundred more in base price than a 21st, with a longer wait time but it is well worth it IMHO.
The 21st bows are a great shooting 'tool' and are a decent value if you weigh performance vs cost, but again, IMHO...Fox Triple Crown ;)
Ah heck here's a peek at my Fox (can email more pics if you PM me), it's a Triple Crown Carbon, yew and boo limb core / carbon backed / yew veneers / zebrawood riser, 68", it practically shoots itself LOL. This bow would be around $1k new with the options. But trust me, if you put it side by side with a 21st you'd understand the cost difference:

You do nothing to help my bow addiction. I wish I was left handed so we could just trade bows lol
One sweet looking longbow brother
What are friends for? :biglaugh: You should learn to shoot 'passable' lefty, then we can make it happen. Yeah, this Fox is special. When I first unpacked it when I got it a while back I made a wolf whistle and noticeable intake of breath, its absolutely flawless. I still can't believe the riser is zebrawood, its the craziest zebrawood I've seen. It's a sniper rifle too.
Well send her up north and maybe I can learn to shoot lefty :biglaugh: :archer2:

Sorry Scott, not ready to take a break from her yet. Besides, you'll have a Big River 21st before too long ;)
Yeah was looking at 21 century longbow web site he have some good looking bows was interested in one of his longbows but that's an awesome good looking longbow NineWorlds9
NineWorlds - Oh baby, that looks sweet!
I have a Triple Crown on order with Ron right now. All micarta riser with Bacote veneers and bacote accents.
Can't wait...! I got the last spot in his October Builds. October can't come fast enough. This is going to be my third attempt at the longbow. I think I nailed it this time with the triple crown.
your bow is sweet!
I have one of Milton's bows. It is super smooth and shoots very well. I have won several 3D shoots with it. There are prettier bows, but his are shooters.
