Neat video, rabbit dogs have always interested me. What challenging shots

Cool video,I used to go run Beagles with my Dad when I was younger I sure miss it.
-
That's awesome!

Love the dogs- I wouldn't have gotten a shot off, I'm to slow.

Love to see happy tails. Growing up I bought my first beagle with my paper route money. Somebody in our family has always had a beagle. My uncle, Bob Ford, has written 4 books about beagles. All funny stories about us growing up.

I have read some of Bob Fords Books, We been running and hunting hounds for decades, What is really weird I have never taken my bow. I have still hunted bunnies with a bow but have always used a 410 shot gun and for a few years now a 410 hand gun. This year I am taking my bow. Have some really good rabbit hunting vids on my youtube channel. Thanks

Love my beagles! Still have not shot a rabbit with the bow over them. Scott.

Wish you were closer. Could use a backup!

Cool video. I kept watching a couple of the other videos and have to admit that I probably enjoyed the shaving cream video more than I should have...lol. What can I say, I'm a visual kind of guy...love seeing things explode!

Thanks Man.When that can exploded I was kind of in shock.lol You can not see it on film but a haze of shaving cream went about 20 feet in the air. I have seen guys shoot them with guns so I thought what the heck. Those cans have pretty thick metal so it does show what a 43lb bow can do.

Yeah, right, no problem.

Cool video

That video got my dogs all excited! Hearing the barking, they ran to look out the picture window to see who is coming. There's no way I would have been quick enough for a shot at that wabbit.

I hunted with a basset hound that pointed pheasants, retrieved out of water and would give me east rabbit shots all day. Then poop in the back seat of my car before I could start the car to head for home, every time. I had a cocker that new more about canoe tripping and rabbits than most people do. The shots were a bit tougher, but that crazy dog never failed to rip all of the feathers off my arrows that missed, before he returned them to me. Longbows, short dogs and bunnies, pure fun.

Yes Dave, I believe you could have made the shot especially with traditional bowhunting gear. Though my sons and I do not have rabbit dogs, we do shoot a few cottontails with our traditional gear here in Saratoga, New York each winter by each of us taking turns busting through heavy brush where the bunnies skulk.
