Title: Need St. Joe River bow photos!
Post by: hawk22 on June 29, 2014, 10:01:00 PM
I'm wanting to order a St. Joe river longbow for my wife and I need some photos!  Anything you guys can share will help me decide what wood to get.  Thanks for the info!

If you go on the website and browse the stock bows currently available you'll get some idea of what is possible.  I'm sure others will show up here soon with some pics.

This was my anniversary present to my wife last year. I picked it for her but she seems to like it.

This is a gorgeous bow Tracey made for my wife.  We were at the MTB Jamboree this weekend and I was amazed (again) by what a great shooter this bow is.  It's 56", and at my wife's draw it's only about 25#, but watching the arrows spit out of this thing you'd swear it was all of 40#!

I think I'm leaning towards tulipwood with a purple heart center.  Usually I just tell the bowyer what woods I want and let them do their thing.  They know best how to put it all together and look nice.

This one was perfect for my wife. I just had Tracey tattoo a penguin on it for her. I let Tracey pick everything on mine. She really does well with that.
