Im getting to the age where I need to get out of trees and get into another method of deer hunting. I been thinking of spot and stalk type deer hunting in the corn. There isnt a lot of written advice on this method but I know of archers who have had very good outcomes from stalking into the wind down the corn rows. How does one go back the other way with the wind against your back without getting winded/busted? Ghillie suit or good camo.

If the wind is against your back you will most likely get busted. No amount of camo can make up for scent.
Wally you must be getting to the age where you get absent minded :biglaugh:
Corn hunting was a lot easier years back before the corn rows got as thick and narrow as they are today. Unless there is a lot wind the noise you make moving through gives you away pretty easily.
Ron's correct....early onset "oldtimers"...seen it right off and I resemble that remark!
The worst part is that I have no real good idea how it double posted. Must have been my trembling fingers...lol
I love hunting the corn. Wait till the corn stalks are dry and on a windy day. Start down wind and walk across the rows peeking down each row before you enter the next. You'll get it as you go. The best part of this method is you don't need to get up early to do it.
