Steve Clandinin and I did a little trading.
I not only got a great bow but one of Steve's beautiful knives.
The bow is a Great Northern longbow 68" 48@28.
The bow arrived here about 30 minutes ago.
Here are the 1st 4 arrows taken less than 15 minutes ago.

My neighbor was out so I walked over to show him the bow and knife. After admiring both he said..."Well shoot it!"
I said ok but since you don't have a target I'll have to shoot at mine from here. He exclaims can you hit that from her? It's well over a 100 yds.
I took two shots. Here are the results.

I then went to retrieve my arrows and took this last photo standing at the target.
I hope Michael show up in the picture...lol

God bless,Mudd
PS: I think added altogether I have now shot 7 arrows out of this bow. Thanks Steve for the shooter!!
Very nice!
Save the mojo in that bow...arrows 8, 9 and 10 should be an elk, pig and whitetail after which you retire the bow and simply tell the story for years to come...I was doing well on those new to me bows until I checked the classifieds on the wrong day
DDave
The connection appears immediate.
Congrats!!
Looks like a keeper Brother Mudd. 68in. I'll bet she's pretty smooth.
Mudd, you are lucky because Steve's bows carry a positive Mojo.
I have on of his knives and I love it.steve is a great guy.
Mudd I just checked my pms and on 6-10-2013 you sent to me that there's just too many straight limb d bows you needed to try. I sold the bow you were inquiring about to steve. Great shooter, hope you enjoy and glad you got your turn. That's why I love the classifieds.
I, for one, would like to also see the knife.
When you get the itch again send me a pm for that GN! Nice shoot'n!
LOL,This thread and the people involved are what make this site what it is.Theres a thread that was started about what we would like to see come back.Man this is it right here.Great honest people where a persons word is all thats needed.I'm so glad Roy you like the bow ,it was a hard one to give up,But I'm sure looking forward to the Wallace. You and so many more, like Felix got one of my knives because quite frankly you deserve them.Over the years what you and so many on this site have done to enhance and promote our great lifestyle is truly overwhelming, the knife is just a small token of my personnel appreciation. We'll keep in touch Ol buddy and I'll give you a blow by blow on the Wallace.Darrin is so right on passing the torch and through our interactions we all get chances to try differant bows.My life has truly been changed by Hill style Bows and the peoples knowl;edge on this site. Thanks again my friend.

Nice bow Mudd!! Congrats! Nice shooting too!
Steve I had fully intended to call you before I fired the 1st arrow but I thought I had left the phone in the house and me being "who I am" thought "Oh well, I'll go ahead and shoot these 4 arrows then go get my phone."
As it turned out after I finished the round I stood the bow up beside the arrows sticking out of the target and as I started for the house I felt something in my pants pocket..it was my phone.
I immediately made my call and took the photos of the bow and the results of my shooting after I got off the phone.
I had carried the knife with me but forgot to get in the picture and I got distracted when I saw my neighbor (Michael)so the picture taking of the knife got put on hold until after I could do my "show and tell" with Michael ( which then created the opportunity for a couple of "bragging" photos...lol
The knife is truly a work of a skilled artisan, judge for yourself.
