I recently completed a business transaction with Bear Archery. The were great to work with and very generous in our dealings. As payment for our deal they gave me two new takedowns both a little different than the norm. I wanted to share them with the group. The 1st one is a "B" that was shown in January at the ATA trade show. It has a "birthmark" on the top of the riser. I like a gloss finish so I made it gloss.

The second riser is an "A" which was made to my specs. It was made with Black & Red diamond wood with a Black strip and no Compass. The limbs were made with black and white tips. Then the made it all gloss for me.

I feel very blessed to have these two beautiful bows. Bear was great to me and both shoot like a dream!

I know a few aren't big fans of Diamondwood but I took it to a shoot today and let several people shoot it, it was a show stopper! What do you think?
Awesome....those r gorgeous!!
You lucky dog, that A riser looks fantastic. I would love to have one like that.
Looking great.
Thanks,
Serial # on the "B" is BBTB-13
11-012
Serial# on the "A" is special
BBTA-14
SAR-001
Wow!!! Thanks for the pics
Custom shop taking orders???
Both very nice!! Congrats!
No John, they are not set up to do customs. I was in the right place at the right time and we took care of each other. Just nice folks.
Really like that A riser
Nice!
Just want to share all specs:
B takedown #1 limbs 45lbs.
A takedown #3 limbs 52lbs.
Thanks guys for the nice words, Bear did a great job.
Very nice, really like the "A" handle.
Nice!

Beautiful. Right time, right place, and talent! Love both of them. The red in gloss is gorgeous. I love gloss wood bows. I wonder if Bear is thinking what everyone else is thinking.
those are VERY nice!!!!
WOW!! That's the first "Modern" "A" I like as much as the early ones.
Pretty cool!
Those look great. I have about given up on Bear as they have not made any left hand two tone risers in 2014. Go figure
Wow!!!!!!!
That two tone diamondwood A riser is gorgeous.
 :archer:
I have never been a big bear take-down fan. But those are very nice.....well done..!!
I was just checking out the Bear website yesterday and they clarify how they make the Futurewood which is not a laminate like Dymondwood
DDave
Very nice.
Well done!
Very nice bows!
Those are both beautiful bows, Steve. I really like that special "A" riser. Very nice!
Both are beautiful bows but the one will have Bear collectors scratching their heads in say 50 years :)
Those Look Great!
Very nice!!
Thanks for all the nice comments. They are both lookers and shoot just as well. The Bears just like most all other bows shoot better than we do.
Bear did such a great job on these two bows and they shoot so well I thought I would pass them through one more time. Thanks!
Beautiful bows, and they really make me wish that Bear would set up a custom shop --- I don't much like the colour red, so am especially envious of the black stripe.
I guess I'll have to give some thought to buying a latch set from 3Rivers and making my own...
