Guess I will have to open it up and see what is inside.
Seriously Pat? You're gonna tease? That's way too TG-like of you!
Nah, could just be some tomato stakes for the garden. I wouldn't rush to open it.
But, if you do, we'd like some pics :)
Bet its some kinda garden tool, send it to me and I'll... errr my wife will try it out! :bigsmyl:
Well, I opened it, and to my dismay(not), it is not a garden tool. However, it looks like yet another of JD's pieces of art. Guess I will have to keep it. Here you go.

Love the look of the calligraphy.

As good as this Morningstar looks, it may shoot even better. It is more centershot than my Hills, and also noticeably faster, so I will have to retrain my eye a bit, because it shot high right for the first few shots, but I'm already getting used to it. It is going stump shooting this afternoon, which should train my eye some more. The bow is absolutely dead in the hand, and the only sound is a very slight string buzz. I doubt that it will get fitted with silencers, because it just doesn't need them.
This bow and I should have a long and happy relationship. Now I have some idea of what other JD Berry fans were talking about with his bows. The guy knows a couple of things about making a quality arrow throwing device.
James, Thanks for making my day!
 :campfire:
Didn't take long to start to figure the sight picture out. These three from 20 yards. My spot was the dark spot just above the group, so it's getting there. Hubba, Hubba, Hubba!
Congrats Pat.....ENJOY!
Always exciting getting a new bow...congrats! A real beaut! So classic and clean. Perfect number as well, 66" 54@28" that works for me! A Berry is on my list!
Enjoy getting to know her!
Kris
ps - He has the nicest handwriting, that always adds IMO. John Strunk as well...
Awesome looking bow!
Gorgeous bow, JD does it again, enjoy!
That is a great looking bow
Nice group. The results are impressive.

never seen a D bow strung like that before.
Man is that thing killer. Absolutely gorgeous.
Very nice!
Man i like that white glass...very nice bow!
Beautiful bow, just can't wrap my head around those reverse handles. Of course, wasn't that many years ago I couldn't see myself heading out into the woods without "wheels".
Purdy!
Well, that blew my thoughts. My first impression was a standard Hill style bow. Seeing it strung and with reverse handle kind of threw me at first.
Pat that bow is so ugly I collect ugly bows ! Lol. Good luck with her.

This is the French style. It's for shooting backwards while you run away. :D
Kidding aside, it looks awesome. I'm wanting to upgrade from a recurve to a longbow and this adds to the dilemma of deciding exactly what I want.

Congrats on another nice one!
That is very nice! :clapper:
