It was a gorgeous morning in the Rockies. Saw this group of bulls first thing, so the light was crappy for pictures. Saw a big herd of Cows and calves, but they were to far off to get photos. I was at 9000' (give or take a few) and there were some pretty big drifts of snow still in the trees in places. I even managed to kill a few stump with the new bow.

Very cool, thanks for sharing.
Great pictures Elksong. I think I owned that KS briefly....and regreted selling it. Enjoy your bow, they are really great recurves. I recieved my new Kwyk Styk from Jack just this past Wednesday. I'll put up a post once I've spent some time with it.
Breathtaking.
Makes a flatlander from Iowa long to be in the mountains again. You are blessed to live where you do! Seeing that Aspen grove with the bachelor group of elk makes me very jealous!!! As Nine said, "breathtaking"!
Beautiful!
Great photos...nice looking bow too.
Fantastic!
Spring in the Rockies, wow!

Its Hard to beat Spring in the mountains! Beautiful photos as usual!
I miss living in that area of the country.
Very nice. Thank you.
Nice Jason. Looks like good foreshadowing to you're hunting year!
Very cool walk...nothing like a Kwyk Styk!!
Love the pics. I am looking forward to getting back to CO this fall for my elk hunt. Its been several years since I hunted elk with my Colorado buddies.
Just left Telluride on Friday morning, We traveled hwy 145 toward Cortez, CO. It was a full moon, 34 degrees and at 0530 we saw over 100 elk between the two cities on the side of the road. We also saw a dead mountain lion on the road close to Moab,Utah. Wish it could have been a hunting trip. We saw a herd of 20 to 25 pronghorn in New Mexico. Plenty of mule deer in Telluride also.
great, great pics. just makes me even more anxious for fall
