I've never made arrows to match a bow but today I had some time off and was feeling creative.
The bow is a centaur chimera carbon back and doug fir belly. It has a bocote riser and turquoise accents.
The arrows are doug fir with black and turquoise cresting with sliver pin stripes.
If you've ever done it post some pics and tell us about it :archer2:

Those are beautiful
Those BW arrows are sweet! Any idea how he did that swirling with the stain?
Scott and frass' those are awesome! Yeah buddy
I was gonna say yes but then I realized I don't have any pink bows LOL
No i never did, but I have in the past done cresting so the lines would match up with lines on the riser.
All I had to do was nock the arrow on the bow and I would know if my BH changed.
Sorta'

Nah. I like BRIGHT PINK arrows for visibility, but I would never want a bright pink bow
frass: those arrows are gorgeous!
Scott that turquois looks awesome!
Sweet arrows frass!
WOW that BW setup is awesome!!!
Pat is quite the artist, I got a dozen from him and could hardly bring myself to shoot them. Gorgeous arrows!

When I ordered my black glass Wesley Special, I also ordered a set of arrows with black crown dip. They looked good together.
Nice arrows guys! I don't have any pictures to share on this point. But several times guys have requested this. One that comes to mind is a fella that had a green glass bow. So I was able to match up a green stain for the wood shaft and then went from there with the crown, cresting and fletching. I have also done arrows with "school colors". Kind of fun.
I'm about to start my first cresting adventure. Not exactly matching the bow. Kinda the opposite I guess. I'm doing pink/white for visibility (my first pink arrows) and there's no pink on my bow, but I did just order two pink/brown strings and pink/brown whisker silencers yesterday. Bow is a mid 60s Ben Pearson Hunter with zebra riser/brown glass. It's a lower draw weight backup bow that I'm trying to get my wife to start shooting with me, so that's part of the reason for going all out with the pink. That, and because it's gonna look fabulous. ;)
