I did not plan to put this on Pow Wow since most of you don't know me personally and its not a true archery topic but since I spent a lot of time reading Trad Gang in the hospital the last couple days and really enjoyed seeing GHall80's thread about his son I decided why not? Very touching moment for him I am sure.

Friday night a future traditional archer was born!! Everyone is happy and healthy.

My wife is AMAZING but did not go for any of my archery inspired name suggestions: Fred, Glenn, Charles, Howard, Ben, Paul, Damon, Bear, Wes, Easton or even Bob Lee! :laughing:

So...Meet Evan Archer Haines, our second son.

She liked the middle name a lot and I liked her pick for the fist name. Compromise!

Soon he will be tromping around our property with Dad and his big brother Jack!

Jack has his own bow but prefers Dad's Cari-Bow Peregrine. I would never push them into archery if not interested but some of Jacks first words were "bow arrow". All signs say in several years from now they will be part of the "Gang"!

LOVE THE NAME

I tried to get my wife to let me name my boys Bow and Hunter.
Just so I could say from time to time

Ghall80, our second name choice was Henry Hunter. I got to say the names Bow and Hunter would be awesome combo!! :thumbsup:
