So today I was out shooting my bow and my two boys were playing inside. When my youngest Dylan 3 yrs old came running out the door with his bow. I didnt ask, I don't push, I just was waiting for this day to come. I have had him a few times here and there but it would last 2-3 arrows and hes back inside to play.
But man was this a great day side by side shooting with my son.
I am one proud and happy dad!
ITS JUST CANT GET ANY BETTER THEN THIS!!!!!!!!

What a great day for you. I am looking forward to my grandson getting big enough to shoot. He is two and a half now, so maybe it won't be too long now. He loves to go into the sports room and look at my bows, and he knows that one small bow is actually his, he just doesn't know what all that means. Be sure to keep pics coming as he has other sessions with you. Pictures of children shooting are just plain refreshing to see.

No Gary, it doesnt get any better than that. Rachel was scheduled to go to the beach for the week of Denton Hill with her cousins. Michelle asked her what she wanted to do. She said, "Im shooting my bow with Dad." So she opted out of the beach!!! I guess it may have to do with the fact Kyle will be there:)

I remember when our daughter and son started to shoot. It was great all around family fun. My daughter out grew her archery but my son still shoots. Up until last Dec he went with me every Sunday he was not racing . We both miss those Sunday shoots preceded by a country breakfast and catchup on the weeks events.
Enjoy every minute with your children, they grow up to fast!!

3 plain 'ol whites? Where are his spliced feathers?? :D

That's awesome, now you have to bring him to 3ds. I have a 3 year old too and she shoots with me once in a while. Definitely fun.
