Title: Browning Nomad 1 ?
Post by: elbow on May 27, 2014, 10:14:00 PM
Anybody have one in the 54 inch model? Tell me about them. Smooth to 29.5? Fast? Good hunting bow? Any info appreciated. Thanks, Craig.

Craig...my Nomad was 60", 48# at my 27" draw. Very good hunting bow. Killed my first 3 deer with it using Forgewoods and Bear Razorheads. All shots were 20 yds and under, passthrus on all shots.

The bow did have a good force/draw curve out to 30" not fast by today's standards but was quick enough for me and my setup. It was basically a fair priced, good hunting bow that got the job done. I hunt turkeys today with my 50" 55# Browning Cobra.

Your bow...even if it's 45-50#...is a good solid hunting bow for deer, bear and antelope. Good luck with it...Joe
