all things bieng equal, except bows of course..
is a bear grizzly FASTER than a super kodiak????
or is the smoothness of my super kodiak just making me think that the grizzly is heavier/faster???
it just seems faster, i have now way of realy putting them through the paces but if someone out there could tell me the REAL numbers it would be nice to know.
thanks .

With everything being equal...the shorter bow should be a tad faster but not really enough for the naked eye to see.
hmm.
it deffinatly seems as if i get a smoother/crisper release from the grizzly.
man its so tough to tell. i love both bows.
the only glass bow i own is a 50 lb super kodiak with too many deer to count to its name.
and i was thinking on getting a used 50 lb grizzly 'cause i was shooting a friends and i fell in love with it.
im realy a selfbow man at heart but i still like to grab a recurve and slip thru the woods.

I had a late model 50# Bear Grizzley that was very slow. I have an older model grizzley that shoots faster. Jim
I have a '67 Grizzly that is a great shooting bow with very good cast for it's weight and a very comfortable grip. The 65 and 66 models look the same to me except for the riser wood. I recommend you look for one of those. I also have a later ('70's) model Griz that isn't nearly as nice a bow.
