Title: Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear- colorado
Post by: treepasser on May 25, 2014, 12:09:00 PM
I flew into Denver, rented a mini van, and
drove and camped around as large a portion
of Colorado as I could in seven days, as I am
planning on moving there soon. I happened
to stop into this shop while in Denver area
and have to say It was a great place run by
great folks. Funny thing the day I left
I was sickened to watch one of our oldest and
well established archery shops here in
Waukesha Wisconsin promoting crossbows on Public television. Was really refreshing to walk into a traditional only shop , thought they were extinct.

I purchased a Hoyt Dorado off of them a few years back. Excellent service and packaging.

I've never been to the shop in person but have dealt with them many times for mail order. They are great people to deal with and the last word on cedar arrow shafts.

Hundreds of bows, and you can just pull them off the rack and shoot.  Tom, at RMSG taught me to shoot.  Never charged me a cent.  I've done a lot of business there since.  Fine and knowledgeable people.

Every time that I've shopped with them I've come away impressed with their customer service.  Furthermore, if you're checking prices, they can beat the other place;  while I've had nothing but good experience with the other guys, I don't mind saving a few dollars when I can.  If I'm ever in Colorado I want to stop in, even though I'd probably be leaving there with another bow...

Great place and people! They tuned up my form for free after not shooting for many many years (mostly Mark, but the other guys helped too), set me up with a Samick Journey, and then some heavier limbs with arrows to go with each. I went back and bought a used Dale Dye Trails End that I've fallen in love with! I hope to take an elk with it this year. They've got so many different nice bows on the wall that you could try a different one every day of the month and not be finished! Great guys there that live the dream!
