So I know bear tried these for a year or two and they're regarded as generally unshootable.
But I see 3 piece Longbow takedowns around. Was this a problem with the limbs they designed for the bear td? Or is it a problem with the original riser design, that it just doesn't lend itself to LB limbs?
Has anyone made LB limbs for the bear takedown that are worth their weight?
I had a friend who put some of those Bear longbow limbs on his A riser and I have to say that although I really like Bear bows, that was the ugliest bow I thought at the time I had ever seen. That was in the days before "hybrid" bows became so big so maybe Bear was ahead of the curve on that one, it sure was a "hybrid". :goldtooth:
I posted this same query last year. Apparently they were crap.
