This week I bought several Bear bows and equipment from someone who had collected them for a few years. One of the items that caught my attention was a semi recurve with light green front and back glass and maple in the riser and limbs. On the top limb it says "Fred Bear Instant Archery" and a target logo. It has no shelf but is designed to shoot left or right with stick on rests. It was obviously not an expensive bow when it was made but I haven't seen one like it. I also got one arrow with it that had the same "Fred Bear Instant Archery" on it. I assume that they were sold as a package.
Anyone familiar with these bows? I don't see the weight shown anywhere but it's probably around 30-35# and it's 60" in length.
Wow! It must be almost unknown. :clapper: :archer2:
Best I can tell they were sold as part of a beginner's kit with a glove, arrow, and an armguard. I think the later kits came with an all fiberglass bow. There's an instant archery bow on the big auction site right now. :archer2:
