as of 2015, imgur image display issues were resolved by imgur.
if you are using www.imgur.com (http://www.imgur.com) to store large images (wider than 640) to use in trad gang posts, those images will fail to auto-resize.
the current work-around is for you to resize all imgur stored images to no wider than 640 for posting, or just post the link to your image.
imgur has made a software change to all their uploaded images that has eliminated passing on image dimensions that our code requires to auto resize large (over 640 wide).
this problem is only with imgur and not with photobucket or imglinky, and shouldn't be a concern with other online image archive sites.
at this point it will take quite awhile to fix this issue, sorry for the inconvenience.

Before you upload your Imjur pictures you have a choice of what size to load them. I always choose the 640 wide and haven't had any trouble yet. I don't think.

correct - if resized to 640 there will be no imgur problems with posts anywhere on the web.
