Every SURGRIP i saw installed was just rolled on the riser and i came up with this method and it's nice for people that are bothered by feather contact on their hand!!!!

I just pulled it past the shelf and folded it over it's self and FOLDED it over it's self then pulled it up. LOOKS PRETTY GOOD TO!!!!
I have a ShurGrip that I have Tried 2X to get on My LongBow. I havent had Much Luck, as it is Staring at me in its Package. Is there a Trick to getting those Suckers On? :banghead:
I thought about Cutting the Sucker in Half, Supergluing one side to my Bow, then Pulling the Opposite "End" around as Tight as I can, and Gluing THAT side on. Then just trim off the Excess. :banghead: :banghead:
Just roll it on
Looks great
I managed to get one on my recurve. Man, it was a bitch, took about 15 minutes of hard work, but easily worth it. Just put a little elbow grease in it, and I'm sure you could get one on about anything. I ended up just rolling mine into a hoop and kinda spun it up, until I got to the handle, then it took 2 hands pulling to get it in place.
you could try putting 2 peices of small rope through each side and pulling it on and have someone hold the bow
