If you're looking for some youth arrows....here are some going to the St. Jude auction.
Back quivers, too.
So, if you're looking for some arrows for that young shooter in your life, here ya go.
I have about 2 doz more to finish up.

Ray Lyon and Kustom King helped with some of the materials for these as did Matt Gundock (magnus - Turkey Flight Traditional fletching). Some of the fletching came from a great deal Don Ward (Eagle's Flight Archery) gave me.
I'm getting worn out, but having fun doing it :)
All arrows are 1/4" shafting.
Thanks, Bud, for all that you have done!
:clapper:
Very nicely done Bud.....the kids on both ends of these transactions will benefit.
Very nice
Bud thank you for putting these together. I really got off easy compared to you. Your workmanship looks outstanding and I believe some kids are going to be ecstatic about these.
Here's a golden oldie of me with my oldest daughter about 10 years ago. I bought the bow, quiver and 1/4" arrows in an auction and man those little arrows flew like darts from those light weight bows.

And time flies when you're talking about little girls growing into young ladies. Here's Mary today not needing any help with the shooting process anymore. Great things come from good equipment for the kids.

Mine are now 28 and 26 years old Ray. Both of my girls grew up in a blink. Both shoot bows on occasion, but not daily like some of us addicts.
I should have the other arrows ready by auction start. Then I'll be shifting my focus to some leather goods.
Mighty fine work Bud
Six more fletched...

Those look great!
Bud,
You're doing amazing work. Did that fletch tape work???
Yep....like a charm.
Way way cool! :clapper:
Mark Twain wrote about Tom Sawyer and the famous fence story.
This is fun! Tom got help...

I remembered that story today :)
Wow, maybe I'll adopt a little girl or boy so I can get some of these arrows for them. They look great Bud!!!!
Some more from your supplies Ray ;)

It's not too early for Christmas presents grandpas!! Dad's!! Bid high for the kids of St. Jude!
Last batch!!

:campfire: :archer: :archer2:
OK...I'm arrowed out. I finally have them all listed.
Now, here's the catch....One of the listings will have a back quiver added to it. (the Latigo looking one - it was made for the set of arrows that are 23" bop - yellow/green set of nine)
I have two more back quivers in my original post pic (the brown ones that match) that will be sent with the two sets of arrows that go for the most money raised for St. Jude.
So, you'll have to keep up with the other bids if you want one of those quivers added to the set of arrows you have your eye on for that young shooter in your life.
These arrows should do very well out of bows up to 20 lbs @ 24". I shot one of the red oak ones yesterday out of a 16@24 fiberglass recurve. The red oak ones may be able to be shot out of bows up to 25#. They're pretty stiff.
You be the judge on what's safe for your shooter.
Bid high for the children in need; The young patients of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Thank you all.

The auction starts tomorrow. It's all about raising the most money possible, given today's economy, for the families who have children being treated by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Wallets are thin....purse strings are tight, but please open them up, if possible, to provide a donation to this very worthy cause and in the process get some arrows to give to a child in your life, or any of the other wonderful and thoughtful donations of all the listings.
If you're eyeing some of the youth arrows shown above, I've made it easy to navigate the listings. Here are the links.

Please know that it's all for the kids of St. Jude. I look forward to this time of year on tradgang above opening day of deer season. I get an excitement like I'm 8 and expecting the G.I. Joe set or the Hot Wheels cars and track for Christmas.
Please forgive me if I seem overly enthusiastic, but I am.
Prayers go out to all children in hospital right now. May they heal successfully and quickly. And prayers for a successful auction.
God bless.
triple post hiccup
Another shameless plug to get eyes and bids on these....
For the sick kids of St Jude....ya'll bid it up.
A handmade back quiver each added to the two highest winning sets. One set has a quiver already in the group ;)
So far here are the leaders for the quivers:
$40 timbermoose
$40 IndaTimber
$50 madness22
If there's a tie, I'll make another quiver. If you see you're tied with someone and you boost your bid to break the tie, I'll make it worth your while
To all who have bid, thank you.
Snipers are invited ;)
Thank you to all the winners. I hope the kids that shoot these have loads of fun.
IndaTimber gets both quivers. His bids were the highest. I have found out he has four children and one on the way. (hope I got that correct Chance)
I love seeing smiles on kids' faces so please post some pics of the young ones shooting and having fun if you have time!!
Thank you Ray Lyon and thank you Kustom King. Maybe next year we can team up again, but give me a few weeks extra to make what we want/need ;)
God bless and THANK YOU all!!!!!
Thank You. We actually had five with one on the way but she decided to grace us with her presence yesterday! So I type this while at the hospital, hoping to get discharged shortly.
Thanks again Bud B for your time and efforts, and to all who donated for the kids!!!
I'm packing yours up as you were typing!!
Sorry for the goof. And congratulations!!
You have a squad of archers!!!!
Yes, my quiver is full!! My kids will be very excited in the coming days. My 6 y.o. got completely set up with everything she needs from the auction!!

Hey Bud,
The good Lord willing, I'll try to help out again next year. You do beautiful work and the winners I'm sure are elated to get these arrows. Thanks again for putting the labor and the shipping costs out there for the kids.
Best regards,
Ray
