Title: St. Jude's Challenge!!
Post by: rbcorbitt on May 08, 2014, 04:18:00 PM
Sorry that I have taken so long to get involved this year!

Just got back in town from Florida after taking two trips donated during the 2013 Auction - hog/bow-fishing trip with Jim and Irv of True South Adventures and the Kayak Adventure with TG mod, Gregg Dudley!  Great fun, great times and great folks!    Thank you, gentlemen, for your gracious donations    :clapper: !!

I realize that each of us are in different financial positions (believe me, the concrete block industry still has not recovered !), however, we should always be cognizant of those who are in need.

Although I would like to be able to do more, I am committed to donating $ 2000 in goods and cash this year!  Now I am in no way expecting this from anyone else, but I do challenge you to set a target goal and work to make it happen.

Every dollar helps!  If you have anything at all (except firearms or ammo) that you are not utilizing, please donate it for the kids!

Thanks to TG and all the mods that make this event happen!

Come on TG members!  Let's set the bar high out there!   :clapper:

That's a great goal. I set mine at $500.  I've got a couple more items to get listed, so I'm pretty confident I'll get there.  Everything adds up, so   .  A goal. You can donate an item, bid on an item or just plain give cash in   .  Name of the Tradgang st. Judes auction.

Ray,

Click on the St. Judes's Auction banner (in yellow) above.  There are complete instructions there as to how to post!

Thanks for your interest in helping out this great cause.  Every dollar brought in helps!

Feel free to PM me with any questions that you may have!

Come on TG members!  Let's scrounge around and see what we have that we really do not need!

Thanks Mr Corbit....we are working on some technical difficulties at the moment with the auction forum....listing and moving is fine, but we are having issues editing the forum numbers to the threads.

No worries though, we'll get it ironed out.....list away.

Bob,
Great post. I'll carve out some time this next week to find some stuff to list. Thanks for the reminder.

Sweet antelope hunt just got listed.  That is on the bucket list for sure.  Too bad they hunt those critters at the start of the school year!  Lots of other great stuff listed.  It is starting to shape up!

Thanks for your post and donation, Gregg!

I'll have to check that hunt out.  I have taken antelope with hunting handguns, but never with trad equipment.

I'm gonna add the gift certificate that I mentioned to your trip!

Going through my stuff this AM as I help my bride clean house.

At this point, looks like at least one bow, a couple knives (custom), a HuntMore stool and some other goodies are going to make the Auction!

Come on fellow TG members!  Everything (big or small) helps!

It's all for the kids!!!   :clapper:
