Just received my back quiver from Bud and all I can say is WOW.This quiver is awesome, craftmanship is flawless. It is made in the hill style but he positions the strap any way you like a quiver to sit,so for anyone who is looking for a quiver he is listing one for St.Judes auction so please bid on this quiver as you will not find anything better out there..I do not have photo bucket but go to his posting and you can see a picture of one that is already made. Lou
Thanks for the plug, Lou.
FYI all, Lou donated the leather for the St. Jude quiver I'll build for the winner.
Thank you for the help on the part too, Lou.
Cool deal! :notworthy:
Bud's quivers are excellent!
Thanks Rob.
The St. Jude build will be built out of the same hide as this quiver here. This vegetable tanned leather is called "light" leather because it's been exposed to sunlight to give it a more golden suntanned look.
This one is wet from forming. The lighter colored spots between the cross lacing is the true color of the dried leather. Oiling it will darken it, obviously, so it'll be a nice brown when all oiled up.
