Post by: Dan bree on May 03, 2014, 12:32:00 PM
First time shooting. Gt heavy hunters. All ways shot woods  do you think the 500 spine at28inch will be ok with a 145 head  want to shoot them out of 63lb. Hills.  Thanks.

I don't know if those will work for your setup, but I have some .320's I shoot from my Predator and I really like them.

Man    :) ,  are you kidding? For  63# you needed 320 spin. But i guess you asked because, you like weight of 500 spin... is better to stay with regular GT traditional

Being your shooting a hill style bow and arrow length is 28", you are probably in the ball park w/ a .500 spine.

X's 2 with Prairie Drifter.

You may even be a bit stiff (I'm assuming you draw 27" or less based on your arrow length).

I didn't realize that is Hill bow. So is possible to use spin 500 cut on 28"
Sorry, my mistake
